Our Educator of the Week comes to us from #58 in Durham, NC. The director for this school, Ms. Gina Davis, as well as one of her parents sing their praises for their infant room teacher, Ms. Jaleesa Roundtree. She has six years of experience in the field, which adds great value to the interactions and activities with the infants in her classroom.
The first thing you notice about Ms. Jaleesa is her gentle nature and her award-winning smile! Her classroom is a nurturing environment that makes each child feel right at home. Ms. Jaleesa takes the time to ensure that each of her children experience their individualized learning goals, with Bright Baby Curriculum! As the school director, Ms. Gina, states, “I have learned that some people are designated in life to fulfill certain task…Ms. Jaleesa is definitely meant to work with children during their infant development. She is truly gifted in her ability to teach our babies and communicate effectively with parents. Seeing pictures of Ms. Jaleesa does not do any justice. She is literally amazing to watch. Even though I am her supervisor, there is so much I learn from her on a day-to-day basis!”
